Spier Art Route Map

I was commissioned by the famous wine farm, Spier, to create a map for the art route on their farm. It included a few of their key artworks and the buildings on the vast property. It was to be transformed into a full fold-out A2 brochure that included detailed information about each art piece and the artists behind them. It would also include the history of a few of the key buildings on the property.

Creating illustrated maps like these is my favourite way of combining analogue and digital mediums to create something truly unique. Each illustration, the walkways, labels and other details were painted or written by hand with ink, then scanned in high resolution. In Photoshop, I added all colour and completed the full composition.
